Welcome to you all amateur and professional photographs, to one of the best picture organizer software!
This software is intended for all happy owners of a digital camera.
And why this software is so special.
First, when digital photography become so popular there was one huge difference between
classical and digital photography: numbers of pictures you may shot. Without those limits imposed by photographing on film, numbers of photos taken, grow so much that it becomes almost impossible to handle those huge numbers of pictures shot into a time interval. But digital photography has a one big advantage: it can make use of computer power. That's it, a computer may help us to organize our photos,
but for this we need a piece of software. Pics Organizer was 'born' for this purpose: to help you in your work of organizing all your pictures in an easy and intuitive way.
And now, how's that:
Do you remember old time when you roll your fresh negative or positive developed film before your eyes against a light source and watch those tiny little pictures, trying to figure out witch picture to keep and witch not?
Pics Organizer do the same thing for you, starting from a source directory where you keep all your pictures you want to work on. From this directory and all its sub directories, the program build a rolling film with all pictures sorted into a chrono(logical) way.
More of that, you may start with a positive or negative film.
There is a huge difference between the two:
In a positive film mode, all pictures will be a candidate for a photo album.
In negative mode, only the pictures you selected by double click on it will be included into album.
That's it, by double click on a picture will toggle that picture from positive to negative, as a result the picture will be or not be included in album.
An album will be defined based on a time line, by selecting first picture and last picture from a time interval, and only positive pictures will be included in album.
You will be informed all the time about how many albums do you defined, how many pictures are in albums and how many pictures are in the album you just edit and other useful information that makes your work easier.
An advanced filtering tool will give you the possibility to view only pictures that fall into a particular category.
Advanced filters that you may apply are:
- Camera/Model - if you have more than one camera;
- Width and Height of the pictures;
- Focal Length;
- Dpi (X,Y resolution);
- Exposure Time;
- ApertureFNumber;
- ISO equivalent;
- Focus Distance;
- Flash used or not;
- Metering Mode;
- Exposure program used;
- Exposure Bias;
- White Balance( source light);
* available only those supported by your camera model.
Based on those filters you may find from a huge collection of pictures only those you particular looking for.
Pics Organizer come with a very handy tool to find a picture duplicates.
If you don't remember if you save that memory card more than once, or if you have more than one same pictures into your collection from any particular reason, than this tool will help you to find out and clean those duplicates, if you decided so.
On each album you may keep original name for each picture file, or to edit each picture file name, or to change all picture files name by defining a generic name. Each picture file name will be changed using that generic name by adding an index.
In addition you have one more option: add to each picture file name the following information: camera/model name, date and time when picture was taken.
You may define parent folders, each for one or more albums to create categories of albums, and if you wish( recommended),
Pics Organizer may create automatically a new folder for each album, under which picture files will be copied or moved. Those folders will
be named after generic picture file name defined by you. Reason for all this is to create a better organized folders structure.
Split by days function allow you to organize automatically all photo files or individual albums on per day folder structure, starting from the root or under each album folder.
And in the end, when you define all albums, with only one click of a button, all picture files from unorganized source folder will be copied or moved into an organized form to target folder and sub folders structure automatically created.
All those option gives you the chance to organize your photo files in a fast and extreme flexible way.
